Growing up, I suffered from acne, and it left marks and scars. I never really had a skin regimen because my skin was sensitive to a lot of different products. So, I consulted with a dermatologist, and tried all types of injections, creams, and treatments. They worked, temporarily, but I still had the scars to remind me of my horrible teenage acne.
First off, I am not a dermatologist or skin care expert. My skin is far from perfect, but this is how I maintain my skin’s health. This works for my skin and gives me that natural glow every morning! Influenster sent these products to me for testing purposes, but all thoughts are my own.
I received Peter Thomas Roth’s Potent-C VoxBox last year, and it has been apart of my skin care routine ever since! It’s my go to and I cannot put this stuff down! I literally use these products every morning and night, especially when I have a break out.
About Peter Thomas Roth
I have combination, acne-prone, and sensitive skin! I wanted something that would moisturize, even and brighten my skin tone. In my VoxBox, I got the Power Serum, Power Eye Cream and Targeted Spot Brightener. These products are jammed packed with antioxidants and THD Ascorbate which brightens skin, improves wrinkles, and firmness. This product is sure to make you look younger with the anti-aging properties.

My Skin Care Routine
When I first wake up, I like to brush and floss my teeth. Next, I like to wash my face with Shea Moisture’s African Black Soap for Eczema with cool water. Then, I pat my face with a warm towel. Following, I use Neutrogena Rapid Clear 2-n-1 Fight & Fade Toner on a cotton swap on my face and neck. Afterwards, I let my face air dry and prepare for moisturizing.
If I have a breakout, I like to use Peter Thomas Roth’s Targeted Spot Brightener to eliminate scarring. So I apply the brightener directly to the affected areas. Next, I gently apply PTR’s Power Eye Cream around and under my skin. Once I have applied everything, I like to apply Maybelline’s Lash Sensational Boosting Serum on my lashes. Last, but not least, I apply the PTR’s Power Serum all over my face.
My Thoughts on PTR
This was my first time using a serum consistently in the morning and at night. I have noticed firmer skin, an unresistable glow and a change in the health of my skin. This serum is just right for my skin. It’s not harsh or strong. It doesn’t have a loud scent, and it’s lightweight. I give this product four stars because my face gets extremely oily, and it was, but I love my results.
Power Eye Cream
After using this Eye Cream, the skin around my eyes were more firm, brighter, and overall very healthy looking. After doing my research, I needed a product to maintain the health of my skin around my eyes. This product is light weight, colorless, scentless and does exactly what it says it will do! I can’t believe the results I got after two weeks of consistent use.
Targeted Spot Brightener
It never fails! When I get a pimple, I try my hardest to let it take its course. Well, ever since I got my hands on this product, life has been less stressful. I got a pimple, and I didn’t touch it, but it still left a mark. In three weeks, the scar disappeared. I was consistent with applying it twice a day, and it was gone! This product is tried and true! I will keep this in stock at all times!
